Almeida Garrett National Mobility programme

This is an internal mobility programme for students in public higher education. It offers the opportunity to study for a length of time at a national host University, with full academic recognition.

Student mobility includes internships, final assignments (at the end of the student's degree) or final projects, as long as these activities fit with the curricular plan of the home University.

Free Mover

Unlike the other programmes listed here, students participating in mobility as free movers are not eligible for a scholarship and should have sufficient financial resources to pay for tuition at the host University.

These are cases where:

a) students intend to do a mobility programme with a University that has no bilateral agreement with FEP;

b) students have had an Erasmus mobility scholarship (even if they want to attend a University within the FEP partnership network).

Students interested in undertaking a mobility programme as free movers should first validate the mobility and the study plan they intend to complete abroad. They should also officially inform the Section of Mobility (erasmus@fep.up.pt) indicating the school they wish to attend abroad and the desired field of study.
