Memberships and Rankings


 FEP is officially a member of CLADEA - Consejo Latinoamericano de Escuelas de Administración. This network will reinforce FEP’s international status and develop the cooperation with Latin American institutions.





FEP was integrated into QTEM - The Network Master in Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management. The QTEM Network has its focus on a International Master's degree in Economics and Management, which will provide students with the analytical and quantitative skills to allow them to be able to support the decision-making process in international environments.


FEP is a member of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), a leading international organization in terms of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration, responsible for the EQUIS certification.


FEP was integrated into PRME network – Principles for Responsible Management Education – a platform for business schools, which sets internationally accepted values and principles with the aim of contributing to the creation of a more responsible and sustainable society, through teaching and research. Through this commitment, FEP compromises to implement the PRME values in its programmes and research, defend publicly the values of this network and collaborate actively with the other members of the network. This network is sponsored by the United Nations and includes in its Steering Committee reputable entities such as EFMD and AACSB, among others.


FEP is a member of AACSB – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, one of the most prestigious organizations in terms of the continuous improvement of the training programmes in management. AACSB is a global organization which brings together higher education institutions, companies and other entities for the purpose of promoting the improvement of the teaching of management. Established in 1916, AACSB offers its members a wide range of products and services to promote the continuous improvement of the schools and their programmes. Among these services is AACSB accreditation that is, alongside with the EQUIS accreditation, one of the most recognized worldwide.



- CFA University Recognition Program – Master in Finance has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Programme. This status is granted to institutions whose degree programme(s) incorporate at least 70% of the CFA Programme Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK), which provide students with a solid grounding in the CBOK and positions them well to sit for the CFA exams.




Eduniversal– FEP is part of the top 1000 Schools of Economics and Management in the world, having been classified as "Excellent Business School".

FEP, together with Porto Business School, are among the top 3 schools in Portugal according to Eduniversal Ranking 2016.





The University of Porto is one of the 300 best World Universities in the QS Ranking in "Economics and Econometrics". The University of Porto is the only Portuguese University in this ranking, proving the excellence in teaching and research of FEP in Economics and related subjects. The "QS World University Rankings"- prepared by Quacquarelli Symonds company – is based on the analysis of more than 3 000 universities on indicators such as academic reputation, reputation among employers and scientific production." 12 FEP Masters in Top Best-Master's of Eduniversal Ranking

12 of the masters are in the top of the rankings in their respective areas, an increase over the previous year, when FEP had 8 masters in the ranking.

Of the results obtained, we would like to highlight the Master in Finance and Taxation and the Master in Sales Management, as well as the re-entry in the ranking of the Masters in Human Resource Management, International Business and Marketing.

In total the University of Porto has 22 programmes in this ranking - divided between FEP and Porto Business School — being the Portuguese University with more programmes in this list that distinguishes annually the best programmes in the world in economics and management.
